I had such a marvelous time photographing Casey & Kelly's wedding. 

March is such an interesting time of year in New Mexico. Crocus are blooming. It can be warm one day and snowing the next. I love shooting weddings in March because I never know what weather surprises there will be.

I adore this photo of Kelly as she was reading her vows to Casey. 

Kelly was surrounded by the love and friendship of her bridesmaids. 

Just look at these handsome lads. Casey and his groomsmen sure cleaned up nice!

The details were amazing.

I love documenting all the guests: from the sweet flower girls to the doting grand parents. 

This end of the night kiss says it all. 

The theme of "art" played out nicely from the location, the Gerald Peters Gallery to the fun portraits with frames. Their exit was truly unique, guests squirted them with water filled rubber fish! 

Second Shooting With Vlad

I always enjoy second shooting with Vlad Chaloupka. He is an amazing photographer AND he lets me post  my images. For that, I am forever grateful. Here are some of my photographs from one of his weddings in October.

 On this hot 4th of July, I am reminded of the cool drinks they served at La Posada during Maria & Joseph's reception.

Zoe's service.....dogs that is! {Santa Fe & Minneapolis lifestyle photography}

Zoe is an amazing high school senior in the class of 2013. She volunteers her time working with service dogs.  Here she is with a litter of puppies that she and her family helped raise.

Awwww....puppy kisses. You can see what a gentle and loving "mama" she was to these pups.

I love this quiet moment that captures where Zoe spends many hours, in her room with her laptop.

Moving to Stillwater, Minnesota in June 2013. {Minneapolis lifestyle photography}

I flew to Minneapolis this past weekend to participate in a wedding fair. The good folks at Twin City Bridal Association (where I am a new member) put on this lively event at the Minneapolis Convention Center. I met so many amazing brides and grooms. Here I am standing in front of my booth. I'm really looking forward to transitioning my photography business from New Mexico to Minnesota.

Three years later.....Anne, Dan and Family

I photographed Anne & Dan's wedding in 2009.  Now they have a set of marvelous 18 month old twins. Here is a sneak peek at the family portrait session we photographed during the Holidays. This is my absolute favorite image from our time together. The twinkies were finished at this point and began flailing around like baby monkeys! It was WONDERFUL to see everyone again.
